A Himalayan species yet easier than you would expect, with leathery leaves, stolons make tight beautiful mats in winter, then transform in summer with inflorescences on tallish stalks, spreads by stolons which are another interesting feature, sprouting out the top of the rosette in growth. Similar to a fine sempervivum as the name would suggest. As the flowers age the central boss changes colour. H 5cm including flowers. Hardy, sun.
