Sasaki Shoraku Kintsugi Chawan Ainu bear The actual colour all dependsThis listing is for a kintsugi aka raku chawan made around 20 years ago by noted potter, Sasaki Shoraku III. It is hand turned and coated with partially transparent white glaze over a low fired base. The thick flowing white glaze hints at depth, the dark areas below fading like shadows. The stamp of the potter can be found on the bottom, and it comes with its original signed wooden storage box. It also comes with a Japanese language profile paper.
