I was surprised by the tannin in this cuvee and it showed quite a bit differently (more fresh and lively) from barrel

violet and graphite

with juicy fruit and hints of cocoa on the finish

Tannins are abundant, yet gentle, and devoid of any angularity the wine is rich, soft, and pleasant. The finish seems endless, as the black berry flavors linger on and on with the just right acidity.
