The palate swirled with dark flavours condensed smoke and treacle, toffee dipped in engine oil, pipe dottles, cigar ash and Spanish tapas (chilli garlic prawns, bacon wrapped dates stuffed with almonds). The reduced nose shoeshine on the Queen Mary, a
