The plant is a mounding species which forms many heads, each about two inches across. The leaves are stiff and thickly succulent, acutely triangular and very sharply pointed. Silver blue in color to green if grown in the shade. The flower is without a scape and is deep green. Easy to grow in well drained soil in bright light to full sun.
